Balancier Convexe S²

Titanium bridges and main plates are frosted by hand, with polished bevels and precisely executed surface transitions throughout. The same standard applies to every component — visible or not. In these final editions, the finishing carries the weight of conclusion: nothing is left unresolved.

The black ceramic and 5N red gold edition works through contrast. The ceramic case and black-treated movement components provide a dark, unified ground. The red gold bezel and caseback break that field with warmth and definition. The tension between the two is what gives this version its character.

The white ceramic edition takes the opposite position. The light-toned monochromatic case removes colour contrast entirely, placing the emphasis on form and shadow. The movement reads as pure structure. The Convexe geometry, freed from visual weight, becomes the subject.

With these two editions, the Balancier Convexe S² reaches its end. Not discontinued quietly — retired deliberately, with the most demanding and exclusive executions of the series. The year 2026 marks the beginning of a broader transition at the Atelier. Each calibre being retired takes with it a specific body of development. The Balancier Convexe S² leaves behind five years of work in case architecture, inclined regulation, and finishing at the limits of what titanium and ceramic allow.
