Quadruple Tourbillon
88 pieces (2008-2021) | Red gold | Platinum | TitaniumThanks to this uncompromising creation, Greubel Forsey has reaffirmed itself as authentic inventor, using the mechanical timepiece as its means of expression. The Quadruple Tourbillon is a blend of art and technical innovation which encapsulates the very soul of the two creators.
Transparent sapphire bridges were specifically chosen to allow unimpaired visual access to the perfectly choreographed aerial ballet of the four tourbillons. Greubel Forsey has engineered the four tourbillons together in a contemporary design, in which elegance and harmony are the dominant features.
In the same spirit, and owing to the impressive number of parts which make up the movement, an asymmetrically-shaped case was chosen. The asymmetrical form was also an aesthetic tribute to the asynchronicity of the four tourbillons. To complement the homogeneous ensemble, the displays of the small second and the power reserve dials are semi-circular. With its sophisticated coalescence of technical Invention and artistic design, the Quadruple Tourbillon encapsulates the best in fine watchmaking.
Invention
Quadruple TourbillonEach of the four tourbillons connected to a spherical differential contributes independently to obtain a precise and reliable timing rate especially in stable positions. The spherical differential transmits the average timing rate of the four tourbillons, thus improving the chronometric performance of all the regulating organs.
